[Private; Because Ahiru can't comment, so Rei shall come to the rescue! :|]cursed_tattooAugust 28 2008, 10:55:03 UTC
Ah... Fakir...
What happened?
But to answer your question... Yes. Someone very, ah... close to me is here, but she's from a year or so in my past, before she even knew me. It's a bit... distressing.
[Private; Yeah, Fakir's being a pain :P]knightxwriterAugust 28 2008, 17:20:02 UTC
I said what happened. Someone I know showed up here but is from the past.
Ah, that sounds... similar. Except from her standpoint she knows me but we just don't get along. At all. That's beginning to make things a bit awkward.
[Private; Lol. I love him. xD <3]cursed_tattooAugust 28 2008, 20:27:38 UTC
I got that part. *tight smile* I meant I wanted details.
So you're something like enemies? Well... Hm. You can either lie to her, or tell her the truth, right? If you're good friends in your timeline, then you should know what to do in order to gain her friendship again. It'd probably be easier to make friends with her first or...
*ponders* Think of it like a movi- erm. *remembers that he's probably not familiar with movies and changes her answer* Pretend it's a play. You have to pretend to be becoming friends with her again.
Or you could do it the straight forward way that requires less effort and just tell her the truth. I guess it depends on the kind of person she is..
I could probably help more if I knew more about her. What's she like? *semi-sly Rei is semi-sly. :D If she can get a confession, she'll feel so proud of herself*
[Private; Me too @_@]knightxwriterAugust 28 2008, 21:29:21 UTC
[sigh] Basically, I saw her here, which in and of itself didn't make sense, and her reaction to me was a bit odd. I asked her a few questions and realized where she came from.
At that point in time we basically were. And I'm actually not really sure of what to do. It just happened, more or less. I think most of it was her doing...
Hmph, I'm not really one for plays... (Too many memories of that ghost knight incident...) Plus, like I said, a lot of it came from the circumstances we were in and, well, her.
I can try telling her, but I'd rather not go into details. Remembering what she was like then... I doubt she could handle some of it. But if I tell her I'm from the future she's going to ask questions.
[sighs again and frowns at Rei; he really doesn't like answering questions like this but he is in a spot] Well, her name is Ahiru. She's the small, duck-like girl that falls over a lot and bumps into things all the time. I guess she's pretty outgoing, and she has far too much energy. And she tends to do things without

[Private; You realize we gotta do another Ahiru/Fakir thread again, right? xDD]cursed_tattooAugust 29 2008, 02:16:47 UTC
*She listens carefully to him, nodding in all the right places. When he's done, she looks thoughtfully upwards*
Hmm... Ahiru? "Duck"? Hmm... What does she mean to you?
*Lol, Rei. Trying to give relationship advice*
If she's like that, then yes- maybe revealing the whole future wouldn't be a good idea. Just tell her the important things that wouldn't make her panic, and lie when she asks you questions you know she shouldn't hear the answers to. Or pretend you don't know yourself.
Either way, you're going to end up lying to her, at least a little.
*she laughs again and gives a genuine smile, reaching out and ruffling his hair lightly* You don't have to be shy about it~ I won't tell anyone, promise. *chuckle*

Yeah, the more I talk about it and think about it the more that makes sense. I suppose I have to figure out what to say and when to do it now.
[grunts a little] No, I guess that can't be avoided in this situation, can it?

I'd say sooner instead of later, in case someone else comes along who knows and ends up telling her themselves.

Damn it, I didn't think about that... You're right, I probably should tell her soon.

Mm. I hope it goes well. Let me know, will you?

[after thinking briefly, he decides there's no point in arguing] Hmph, fine.
