I need coffee, but not this badly

So, I've decided not to visit my local Costa Coffee again. Which is a shame, as out of the Unholy Trinity, theirs is the only actual coffee that I like

I'd assume Starbucks, Costa Coffee and Pret a Manger... at least that was my immediate guess :)

I WISH I'd never heard of Starbucks, or Starfuckers as I like to call it.

I've only ever seen it in Europe, but it's quite common here.

Pret's okay if you like over priced faux fancy sandwiches.

I like Starbucks iced coffee, but their hot coffee? No thank you.

Never had coffee at Pret a Manger, but they were all over NY. LOVED them. Affordable, healthy, tasty food.

I don't think I've ever been to Nero, but I'll take your word for it :) (I live in DK - until recently we didn't even have Starbucks, and the others still haven't made their way over here... probably just a matter of time though).

athersgeo got it - Starbucks, Costa Coffee and Caffe Nero. I live in a town of about 23,000, and we have approximately 30 places to go for a coffee.

Time to start trying the independents!

(And I have no problem with the asking of questions - if you don't ask, you won't get answers! :))

I'm lucky-- I live in a part of the US with lots of cafes with charm and character.

I live in a town with 30000. And no place to get coffee. The big city is 60 miles away, so i am out of luck!
