She was helping me!
I was trying to purchase a bottle of vodka. They didn't have the size I wanted behind the kiosk so the cashier behind the counter left the area and went with me to the actual aisle where all the alcohol was to see if I could find a smaller bottle. She was being very helpful to me. Suddenly, another worker came scurrying towards her, literally pushed her way past me and yelled at the cashier, "Excuse me but I'm working here! And anyway, aren't you supposed to be at the kiosk?!"
I was gobsmacked. This cashier literally went above and beyond to help me. This other colleague of hers didn't even say excuse me to me, just pushed me out of the way as if I was an inconvenience to her. And I'm sorry, but I HATE it when I see colleagues berating other colleagues when they've clearly done nothing wrong.
Afterwards, we went back to the kiosk so I could pay. I thanked her for being so helpful and made sure that she knew I was being sincere and didn't just say thanks because it was the polite thing to do. She appeared to appreciate it :)
