Hot chocolate =/= cafe latte

On any other day, this probably wouldn't have bothered me so much. But I had been running just a little late to work, then my train got in ten minutes late and I missed my bus, I had a client waiting at work when I got in who needed to be out by a certain time and I hadn't had breakfast. I fail to see the bad service in this one.

They fixed the mistake without complaint. How is that a bad thing?

I would be a bit put off too, if I repeated what I wanted four or five times and the restaurant still got it wrong. It's definitely a lot more understandable when the server isn't a native English-speaker, but still frustrating, especially on a day that's already going badly.

1. when the OP ordered for the first time
2. when they double-checked with the cashier
3. when they told the woman that the receipt was wrong
4. when they told the person delivering the drink

Add to the fact that she (based on the post) stated the correct item 2-3 times to the person taking her order based on hearing "latte" at the end of his comment. my count comes to a total of 6 times she specified that she wanted hot chocolate.
