What a nice end to the day

I assume, McDonald's, that you had a very good reason for not giving my dad the food that he paid for. As in, he got nothing. Zilch. I was the only one who got food. I am guessing the reason he didn't double-check was because he was tired and wanted to go home and eat, and that my part of the meal filled out the bag enough to not look suspicious ( Read more... )

*fast food, customers shouldn't get what they want, you gotta speak up, *bad service turned good

Ouch :[ That sucks.

Warning, though, you're probably going to get an assload of comments like "Omg you should've checked the bag first, it's totes your fault and not bad_service!"

ETA: Could you call McDonalds and ask them about it/what they could do about it? I mean, it's pretty horrible to leave out an ENTIRE order. Last time my friend got part of her order wrong, we called the McDonalds (we were already home) and they offered to replace it but obvs we had to go back (they put mayo on her boyfriend's sandwich, which is no good. he's allergic to it? or something. he can't eat eggs.) and get them to fix it. Ask to talk to a manager if it seems you're getting nowhere.

Oh, I know. I've been reading this community long enough; I braced myself as soon as I decided to post. I'm pretty sure he checked the receipt, though; he's gonna give it to me tomorrow morning. It's in the car atm.

Yeah, I was wondering if I should. I'll see if I can actually find the phone number for it.

A quick google search should bring it up for you. I wouldn't hesitate to call and just say something.

Hahaha. Yeah, I wanted to, but I hadn't eaten in almost 2 days and was starving. Plus I don't think he would've wanted it, anyway. :(

He made himself something just now, I think. Poor guy.

Or gave someone else his order? Yeah, I dunno. I think the funniest thing about the double cheeseburger is that there were only condiments besides cheese on the bottom half. It's like they got the first half of it right, then went insane and decided to splice it with another burger.

You didn't get everything you ordered and what you did get was stuff you did not order?

Hope the guy who bought the double cheeseburger likes quarter pounders.

Call them. Even if you don't go back tonight, at least you're letting them know that there was a problem right after it happened.
