You know what's really terrifying? I had a globalisation and culture prof show me one of Alex Jones's movies because he "wanted us to know how the world really was" Worst. Prof. Ever.

I alerted the head, and wrote an extra long evaluation. The only reason I stayed in the class was to write the final paper, which I was really interested in, and knew I wouldn't do without a deadline.

It was going to be on the global effect (if any) of youth organizations such as Guiding and Scouting. Turns out no-one has actually studied this yet, so it was more of a history of Scouts and guides as they relate to social issues (eg, in apartheid South Africa) with a huge "Someone should look into this; it would make a great Masters thesis" tacked on to the end.

In high school, there was a Social Sciences teacher who managed to involve the JFK assassination into EVERY. TOPIC. EVER. I took a class in 11th grade called "World History" and well over half of the quarter was spent on WHO killed JFK, watching the videos over and over It was stupid.

I had a Theory of Knowledge class like this in high school. The guys was an ass and only taught the class because the school had to justify having an AV guy for our massive Performing Arts building. He also never actually gave us the information necessary to write the major paper for the class (required for the program I was in). Instead we watched videos on the Kennedy Assassination and played a survival game that had NO BEARING whatsoever on Theory of Knowledge.

He also made this huge speech before veterans day about how he wasn't coming in on Veterans Day because he was a vet, and it was ridiculous that he had served his country and the school system didn't automatically give him the day off anymore.
