Ack, can you imagine if your male co-worker had gone to the room first and the woman was there in the bathroom or something? That would not have been good, to say the least.

Which is the reason I always put the deadbolt or the chain latch (i know it's not always a chain but i forget what they are called) when I'm in a hotel room. People think I'm crazy but I'm terrified of this happening and some crazy guy just walking in and murdering me.

Same. My boyfriend also does this. I don't think it's crazy at all. I think it's smart.

I almost always do too. In this case, it creeped me out that I couldn't, because I was waiting for a co-worker to come. Nothing like trying to fall alseep with only one lock set.
