You absolutely have a valid complaint here. People go to places like this because they already feel horrible, do they honestly think we need to feel worse? Have you called that clinic/lab and let them know about your experience? I had a similar experience and when I called and spoke to the Office Manager, she was very helpful and apologetic.

(I used to work in a Hospital Lab as the Receptionist, and OH the things you see. . .)

ha, i spent about 5yrs in Macon. I don't know anybody outside of the southeast who would put Macon and Atlanta in the same area. Even on weather maps they usually only show two cities, Atl and Macon. soooo suffice it to say Macon and NORTH atlanta are about an hour and a half from each other.

And i hate appointment time BS. ughhhhh. These headaches are some of the real reasons people avoid seeking healthcare.

The lab closed at 3:45, they locked up at 4:30, and the sign stated they were open until 5.

Toooo many numbers!

It sounds like the receptionist lady is going overboard with budget cuts from the gov't. You know, "Our hours say 8 - 5, but we're cutting payroll which means you have to LEAVE at 5, not that the last patient comes it at 5". Combine that with being a total b!tch and you have a recipe for nonsense.
