I enjoy Dunkin Donuts for the donuts. I don't generally enjoy their coffee because all the times I have been, they just put the cream and sugar in it for me. Let me preface this by saying I don't live in an area populated by Dunkin Donuts so I was not aware that you can just ask for them NOT to put it in for you and just put the sugar in yourself ( Read more... )

Ugh that SUCKS. I <3 DD's. We have none here in Denver, so I've been on a DD jones for 2 years. Finally got some last week when I was back in Providence.

Ya...its scary.

There's no more Dunkin' Donuts around here. Krispy Kreme drove the last one out, and then they all closed too.

Up until sometime last year, there was -one- DD store that I knew of, right in downtown Pittsburgh. They were the last place I could go for a good Boston Cream doughnut.

And then they closed. :(

I was a very sad Jupi...

That's horrible service, of course.

I don't understand the whole thing about cream and sugar, though. I've always had to specify that I want them at DD. (I like DD medium coffee with cream and sugar; the other sizes don't get the proportions right.) I know a "regular" coffee in New England comes with cream and sugar, but if you ask for "black" coffee, it should come with nothing but coffee in it. Very weird, that.

It varies, but a lot of the ones I've been to in New England will put the cream and sugar in unless you specifically tell them not to. It seems to be more usual the closer to New York you are.

The last DDs in the Seattle area seem to be gone. We just don't seem to do donuts out here; Krispy Kreme didn't last either.

I haven't been in a Dunks for a while (Despite living in MA) but I'm pretty sure they DO have plain donuts.

Anyway that woman was a bitch. Report her ass to corporate.

Another side note, I have about 10 Dunks near my house. We love them here.
