I hate breaking off plots and RPs I like just due to bad OOC behavior.

Well, I'm really dissappointed.

Sometimes things just don't work out. I've RPed with people who've said some really dubious things. They were otherwise excellent RPers. I've also RPed with people who didn't like my brand of dark humor OOC and ended RP over it.

It all comes down to how much you're willing to concede for good RP. Some people are excellent RPers, but don't hold the same values as you; others are terrible RPers but they might have a lot in common with you. Personally, I try and keep non-RP-related OOC chat to a minimum to avoid these kinds of situations.

Yikes. While it's unfortunate that good RP got ruined by OOC stuff (been there), it sounds like you managed to dodge a bullet at least. If they're willing to defend and argue with you over using a slur, to the point of namecalling and threats, can you imagine how things would have been over something worse?

There's other fish in the RP sea, at least. Hopefully the next partner you find will be a much better fit OOCly.

I guess you're right, I just really hate casual transphobia and TERFY behavior, since I'm sorta closeted trans/enby myself and trying to figure things out and.... it hurt.

I just.... I just wish it didn't happen, and I've posted a few new RP ads but no bites so far. Hopefully I'll find someone new, soonish

Oof. I'm NB myself, so I know how you feel. I would have dropped them fast as hell at the sign of TERFy behavior and language and transphobic bullshit.

Fingers crossed that you get a new partner soon! Where do you usually RP?

I usually RP one on one over E-mail and messengers, whenever I can find a partner.

I just post RP ads and hope people bite for my fandoms or my original cravings. But a lot of time I run into creepers or bad folks in general, and I guess this wasn't an exception.
