If you want fun, you'll have to put some work into it.

So, after three sessions, someone decided to storm out of a game. This happens. Why it belongs here is two fold. First of all, the book isn't running the game. If the Dungeon Master decides that he's just going to create an Anti-Paladin by reversing a Paladin and using the Evil Alignment instead of tracking down the book, that's his prerogative. And now all I can picture is Blackie Lawless's sawblade codpiece...

Add in Madonna's Rocket Bra and you've got the picture. It's...

Yeah, it's a lot like that, really. Except they're functional drill bits instead of just being cones glued to someone's chest.

I know the type. These people always consider themselves great RPers, but they actually are very passive or at least passive-aggressive. Unless the alternative is being disruptive by picking fights with random NPCs, that is. They are the snobby elitist subtype of the chaotic neutral "lol so rendum XD" fishmalk kender, and even more frustrating to deal with.

Pretty much. They've gotten very... My Way Or The Highway... as a player.

Really not working out.

Sounds like time to ask the GM to kick the guy.

Supposedly, he's not coming back until this campaign ends and the Forgotten Realm campaign starts.

Not sure how that's much better because most of the setting fluff and published campaigns has the players running errands for coke-heads and spending the night in brothels. Every major NPC has a substance abuse problem, and there's a very good chance that your character will end the game with one too.

Oh my, I was in a group with such a guy as well. He was playing this ki-adept in Shadowrun, always doing things by himself, never with the group (sometimes he did screw up things for us in the progress). He was soooo edgy, being a ki-adept who did not believe in magic. You know in a world that has magic ...

The best thing were his opinions about our characters. Oh well, it did not last long for other reasons. The session with out his character was the best!

This guy's thing seems to be Flight. Every character he's played Flies and Hits People. That's about it. He's played a Griffin Rider in a Dungeon heavy Campaign.

Well, flight and "Look at me, I'm so attractive and sexy."
