I should have stopped playing with you early on. If I had been smarter I would have. But ohhh no, I like to give everyone a chance. So now I am so annoyed it hurts.
They are the mun of a few characters. The two main ones are the worst. One muse I hadn't had enough time to know properly and therefore couldn't judge on the gary-stu ness of him. The other? An extremely smart girl, with only a few friends because she was too shy to show who she really was. Somebody who did things “for the good of others” because how they feel is more important than how she feels (and if anybody has a character like this then yeah, they aren't all mary sues. Play with this one for a few minutes and you'll see how terrible she is. I really can't describe how sickening it is.) After just one thread I was “argh”-ing. Lots. And yet I still continued to play with both. Ugh.
The girl doesn't sound too bad? Maybe not. Let's move on to their male character. Right. His character was okay at first and our characters ended up in a relationship. It was destined to end badly and that much was completely obvious. They seemed oblivious to this fact. When they were still together their character commented on my character's behaviour, saying “she had changed” but here's the shit:
My character was being played exactly the same was as normal. Maybe OOC I couldn't thread as much... dude, that doesn't mean IC she's ignoring him.
So blahdy blahdy blah more shit happens and for the good of my character (that god awful “for the good of everyone else” thing again. Seriously, I'd love to see them try and play some arrogant, condescending, bitchy character who doesn't give a shit about anyone else. I think it would be a challenge) their character decides to make everyone hate him. Cue me actually staring at the screen going “but but wha-- WHAT THE FUCK??” because whatever your guy was doing IT DID NOT MAKE SENSE. I actually had to ask them OOC why making everyone hate him would help my girl . And they spun me the same BS that their character told mine IC. Which was... total crap. And resulted in my character dumping theirs. Which was partly due to the fact that I wanted done with this plot NOW.
And now here is the bit which really really bugs me. When I got a new love interest for my character and mentioned it to them on AIM (I'm not such a bitch that I would rub it in their face like that, we were talking about in game stuff and I mentioned that I was excited about it all. I had assumed that IC and OOC were totally different for them, like they are for normal people, and they wouldn't be jealous. Turns out...) their reply was: Ah. And whenever the topic has come up in chats they either say: Ah. Or don't comment. ...considering how much they usually have to say? This seems like... idek. Whatever it is it pisses me off. Are they jealous OOC? If so, that is just ridiculous. And I'm kind of sick of them mentioning how their male character is pouting about all of this.
AND they have little knowledge about our fandom. Or so it seems. I mean, COME ON. They do not have the skills or knowledge to be able to do THAT. They're teenagers for gods sake! And their PBs? In canon they are ginger. And they have actually asked why everyone plays them ginger. And I told them that it was their canon... and they said “ohhhh, I didn't know that!”. *facepalms*
Oh and one more thing! They have an Irish character too. Now, I have nothing wrong with trying to rp using accents, I just can't be bothered doing it. So if they want to try and do an Irish accent, sure, that's fine. Thing is, I don't think they've ever met and Irish person. Or hear how they actually talk. I am Irish. I am around Irish people lots. I know how Irish accents sound. So when they try and rp one... I cringe. It's really awful.
And the last thing (long annoying rant is long and annoying, I apologize) they need to learn better grammar and spelling. I'm not saying I'm perfect. No, I'm faaar from it. However, they have countless mistakes. And they insist on buying paid accounts for nearly all their muses. I think it's time to use the edit button, dear.
