So the admin responded...
For anyone who read my post yesterday, I got a response. Personally, I'm too flabbergasted at what admin said to do anything but laugh because I'm angry. Keep in mind all of admin's active characters do not live in Ista, where my character is. Up to this point, admin has neither read any posts, nor set rping foot in Ista Weyr, so I've had good times with the handful of other players there. I'm reluctant to leave the site because of this...but...

OOC: AH HAH! Ok, now it makes sense. LOL Thank you. No, ww Lucy was asked IC by WW Sally of Igen to make a short speech about working with Hides... and at this point Lucy, is about to call a certain other ww out to the Bowl for a sword fight... The storyline here is that the room is FILLED with new ww's and there are a few from Igen to help train them. Lucy is an Igen ww wwho came with WW Sally of Igen. Igen is a very different sort of Weyr from Ista, itr is run tightly and with military rythym and obedience. Lucy at this point thinks of Eve as a dangerous revolutionary enemy who needs to be dealt with as well as as a disruptive influence INTERRUPTING CLASS with smart remarks. My reading of your posts was that Eve was picking a fight with her to see who lived... Lucy is a veteran of pern army campaigns and has fought her share of enemy guardsmen. She has her father - WL Bigman's own temper and Bigman is Lord Dick of Cashews older brother. :> We were not on the same page at all. OK We can delete these now and get back to RP.

Lucy walked up to Eve and stared into her face from an inch away. In her best parade ground scream, she yelled "Who do you think you are continually disrupting this Weyrwoman's Class? Your smart aleck remarks and sheer bad attitude do NOT belong in this room filled with serious minded WEYRWOMEN. If you don't like the job - QUIT! This is NOT about YOU! Get OVER yourself! I am teaching EVERYONE here, not holding a private conversation with YOU!"
Then Lucy paced back to the front of the class filled with weyrling ww's and junior ww's and added, "The next time you disrupt this class we are going outside for some SWORD practice!"
OOC: Practice implies lessons, not combat... but as any DI knows, Practice does NOT have to be FUN... Mu hah hah! :> I have a round wooden log about four feet thick and seven feet high above the ground in mind... it is planted in the ground firmly and the object of the practice lesson is to take your sword and hack through it - in one single swing... and to keep up repeating that till you get it right or your arm falls off... It teaches two things: First: How NOT to use a sword and Second: Never Ever disrupt class... :>

Eve didn't flinch an eyelash as Lucy leaned in to scream at her. She looked at the woman levelly, refusing to take the bait and wondering why WW Sally had chosen to have someone this crazy teach a class. Any respect she had left for the older ww dropped to nothing as Lucy went from condescending insults to bullying threats. The teen kept her peace, remaining totally silent and calm, still waiting for the class to resume.
(ooc: I am sorry that you thought a civilized discussion about making a Weyr more efficient was a direct threat. I'll try to keep my posts simple and unobtrusive during your portion of this thread so there's no more misunderstanding.)
