"Oh, this disease is so kewl! Lungs have to be constantly drained of mucus less the patient chokes in agonizing pain! In this other one, the brain degrades and the victims start chewing off their own skin if they don't have anything else to bite! LOLOLOL let's play a character suffering of that!"
For some reason, I find this really insulting. People die and suffer badly because of this, and you think it's the coolest thing ever and are going to use it in RP? :/
So after reading everyone's opinion, I think my complaints were unjustified. It was my knee-jerk reaction to 'this is a horrific disease, and you're treating it as a game?'
