New here but just had to join.
Hi, I just re-found this community and had to join it. I may very well be mentioned here, and I concede that I do fall into the Mary Sue trap and am an ABYSMAL Pavi Largo(Repo) RPer at best despite people saying they like how I portray him, but even though I may not be the greatest myself, I feel I can learn from being here and also I can get off my chest a few bad RP experiences I've had.
Okay, so I do very many different types of RPs. But for a while I did a lot of Saiyuki ones, which is very well and good when it's canon characters who are acting in character (and I am a fairly good Hazel, if I do say so myself) problem being there's this girl. I found her on Gaia, which to be fair doesn't mean anything, I've had many wonderful RPs on Gaia including a Dr. Horrible one and a Warcraft one, but this Saiyuki one...Not only is the girl a terrible RPer, but she added me on three different messengers pretending to be three different people. She wasn't fooling anyone, same typos, same limits and settings and the same Mary Sue whose 'appearance image' was a recolor of Japan from Axis Powers Hetalia. I was desperate and thought I could deal, so I went along with the RP. She had me playing Sanzo, but not Sanzo. For those who don't know Saiyuki, Sanzo is a temperamental Buddhist monk who seems to be very often teetering on the brink of insanity and is quite violent and grumpy, however she gets confused, annoyed and surprised when I play Sanzo as completely uninterested in ANYONE AT ALL, including her character. Then she pulls the 'you meanie!' card and after I specifically said no whiny femboy ukes ala Shuichi Shindou (Gravitation), that's exactly what she plays. It's extremely grating, especially for someone like me who is desperately trying to play a character outside my own personality, which Sanzo would be perfect for but when I have to play him nice, it's like pushover me in Sanzo's body possessing him. Not to mention she sometimes complains when my posts are short but gives me nothing to work with.
