Umm... What are you doing here again?

Uncle Cazzy's back from the black beyond, with yet another tale of RP terror to keep you kiddies up at night. ;U;

Okay, so. One of my online RP hangouts has a whole damn lot of really stupid trends, things like "whoever writes the longest post decorated with the most unnecessary spangles wins the RP" and such like. (You might be able to tell where just from that. :d) It's irritating, but I put up with it because every once in a while I struck RP gold.

Anyway, to my surprise and delight I discovered one day a little gathering of people who were sick to death of the stupid-ass trends, attempting to carve their way in the sea of nonsense. I join this merry band with a skip in my step, and everything is quite peachy for a little while. Until, that is, she comes along. For the purposes of anonymity, we'll call her Snowman, as in "bluh bluh huge bitch" Snowman(Shut up, I've got Homestuck on the brain.) Snowman seems alright at first, until we start to mock the trends we're all gathered against.

It is then that Snowman reveals herself to be exactly the type of person we came here to avoid, with all the ridiculous rules enforcing the ridiculous trends that we're all trying to get away from. And when called upon to defend her unfortunate habits and the rules that force them on her players, her rebuttal is to say that it is in fact everybody else's fault for not telling her to change her rules, because that isn't putting enough effort into the RP. Now I don't know about you guys, but I generally consider the people barging into one's RP and insisting one change the RP's rules to suit their fancy to be exactly the sort of people I don't want in my games. Of course, she eventually changed this to saying that the real rules were something entirely different than what was written in the first place, and you had to confront her on them to gain access to the secret club, which I think is still pretty WTF.

So between the fact that she's hanging out in a group that was very obviously created as backlash against exactly the sort of RPer she is, and expecting anyone who wants to join her games to magically know that they're supposed to tell her to change her rules or bother her until she tells the real rules or whatever, you get... A whole load of what in the shit.

doing it wrong, drama llama, dumbass
