No, it isn't technically against the rules to pop in out of nowhere, kill someone randomly with the excuse of a 'evil personality', suddenly get control back, run away, and switch to a new character so no one can come after you IC...

But it's still a bitch move.

It is. It's just ridiculously hard to prove in a lot of cases. It is genuinely part of his character to do something like that, it's mostly the swapping characters after that's irksome.

Genuinely part of his character or not, killing someone else's character without asking them is godmodding and, I would think, provable. :O

Eh, we run off a d20 for battle stats, so while the ambush itself is probably, our battles are all modded by an OOC third party.

It is a forum, but we're kinda complex. We're mostly freeform, but stats determine a lot of what moves we can use and pure RP battles are pretty rare. We're a very weird blend, and I don't expect anyone to get that without some explanation, so no big.
