See, this is where the irony of this name and icon comes from.

I don't like anime all that much. I rarely, if ever, watch it. For the icon, I just google imaged "anime". I have no clue whatsoever as to who this guy is.

Most of mine look to be in their upper 20's, if I take time to describe their age-appearance. I think I have one who's described as appearing like a woman in her early 50's who's aging gracefully.

I have one self-insert-inspired character who has a very youngish appearance, but she's as much creepy as cute.

My Mary Sues tend to be a bit odd when compared with the norm, though. (Also: often robots.)

Yeah, that's pretty standard. It gives them an excuse to be badass and knowledgeable and all that while still being sexable minty fresh

Orphans are different, though. They aren't being unknown so they can claim to be hundreds and thousands of years old while still looking 18.
