... two legs bad. But apparently this girl didn't get the memo!
This is the same girl I posted about here. My facebook is now littered with photo op rearing on a daily basis (yay look at meee!). But I resist posting the worst of it because I don't want to come across as grudge posting (honestly, I got on fine with the girl when we were at the same yard, but I cannot condone her horsemanship o_o;;). Still, the wtfkery gets to a level where you just have to post, and this was the photo that did it...
A bloke that can't ride on a rearing pony, with trainers and no hat... not one that's going to protect his head anyway. I know he can't ride because this wasn't a one off photo op thing - she took him for a ride around the woods and his eq looks not unlike somebody riding a horse for the first time (feet all the way through the stirrups, hands clutching the reins at chest height, chicken wing arms... a la: this). And yes, there are a half dozen of him rearing on the pony. (At least he's got a hat on in this one).
Agh... it's one thing for her to be doing this - it's her own life she's risking and her own pony she's ruining (and all the sympathy in the world for that pony). But to put other people on him and do this... inexperienced other people with no basic safety equipment... eesh, I have no words.
Oh yeah, and you know one of the best places to take a rearing pony? Inside a house, they love that.
I just hope to god there was no baby in that pushchair...
