Bad_riding on an Olympic level

I never watched the Pentathlon before, but one of the sports it includes is showjumping, so I expected the athletes competing in it to actually know how to, you know, ride.
Now I'm no showjumper, and I'm certainly not in better form than an Olympic athlete, but I certainly expected something better than this:

I'm sorry, everyone has bad moments, but i would expect an Olympic athlete who's participating in a riding event to know better than to make a bad situation worse but pulling the horse on top of himself.
What really gets to me is that "it's always the horse's fault". Really? It's the horse's fault hat you didn't bother to learn ONE of the activities you're competing in??

lawn darts (falls), stupidity, release? what's that?, show jumping
