I'm glad she's okay and I know accidents can happen to anyone. But shame on whoever her coach is/was for deciding that this level was appropriate for her. IMHO I saw less than stellar things happening from the very first part of the video. She looks only somewhat secure to me. When she comes close to the camera for turns you can see her pulling atleast her outside knee (because that's all you can see at that angle) up, causing her heel to lift. Her weight was not her stirrups a good deal of the time it looked, atleast to me. And all the pumping between fences made me guess that her accident included her being left. And while the accident doesn't appear to be entirely the rider's fault she was indeed behind the motion when it occured. Would have being with the horse saved her? Probably not, I know. But I didn't post this because I thought she was horrible. I posted it because it was one of those rides that has me going "Eeehh..." the entire time. I bet even if the title/description hasn't said there was an accident involved I would've guess there was one just from watching the first minute or two of the video.
I suppose I feel the way I do about the trainer because I have seen plenty of riders riding like this (okay, but really lacking in certain areas, especially security) around my area and the trainers allow them to move up through the levels without making an major improvements to their issues. And stuff like this happens.
