Just to update anyone who follows the showjumping community;
Hickstead died today. Its believed he had a heart attack after completing his round of 13 jumps - he died in the ring.
The death of a true champion.
Sorry if this is not appropriate for this journal - but I think the new should be spread, this is an Olympic gold medal horse.
