I think this is more lesson fail than actual bad riding. If this is a lesson why are they just running pony at the fence while raising it? The girl doesn't seem like a bad rider, just a beginner and a bit over horsed. She's fine over the X's but anything after that her distances are nonexistent and she's getting left behind. Pony seems a bit spunky to be used in a lesson like this? I'm just saying that if my horse was a bit spicy like that my coach would not have me jumping the same jump over, and over, and over. She'd set up a grid or an exercise built to slow the horse down.
