"no event, dressage or western riders please"

Just that makes me suspicious of its quality, without all the other stuff. I don't like the discipline close-mindedness some people have going on. EVERY rider has something to learn from other disciplines. I can see where they're coming from with western, maybe, but whatever happened to 'jumping is dressage with bumps' and, HELLO! Last time I checked, eventers showjumped?

Eventers are the no-good hicks of the riding world, don'tcha know? Why, they can't even pick a discipline to get good at!

I agree about the rider - SIT UP. Also, why snub the dressage riders? What if you did hunter/jumper since the age of 7, switched to dressage at 18, and are now 20? I'm confused. It's such an unfair blanket statement.

I like the horse. I love his biiig sloooow trot/canter/jump.

They're not that bad, but both the rider and the horse could benefit from dressage. Too bad no dressage is allowed at the barn. Maybe they're all allergic?
