dead on my feet
This morning my alarm woke me up for work. I got a shower and dried my hair before getting ready. Upon leaving my house I found that the entire driveway had turned to ice and while scraping ice off my car windows my feet flew out from under me and I fell on my ass.
I go to work. People came in at 7AM to finish the floorset but oh boy, the floorset is not done yet and we get to work on that all day. Lots of things marked down and the walls packed with clothes. Michelle crabs at me because I "should know how to do this by now." Well, dammit, it would be easier if I'd been there to see what had been done and where all the clothing I needed had been moved. You guys make up half of this shit anyway, then throw me in there and yell, "Go!" Blah. Thankfully after awhile Michelle and Dannielle and I were having a good time doing this stuff.
I called Bath & Body and they need me to work their floorset also. At 6:30 I drive to giant Eagle, purchase some caffeinated beverages, drive to the other side of the mall and start that floorset. Caffeine now has an effect on me since I drink it much less frequently and I work at a frantic pace. I stripped 3 cabinets and restocked them with new products and finished the understock in about 3 hours. That's pretty good for me working alone. I worked next to Danielle and Tiffany so I got to chat with them a little while I was working. I also told Gloria that I like her, she's nice. She seemed surprised and pleased, and that made me feel happy. Sometimes you meet someone that you just have to tell that to, you know?
So I'm exhausted and I feel like my eyeballs are going to fall out of my head, but I'm still in a great mood. Productivity! Yes! I'm off tomorrow and now that I'm home and don't have to worry about driving off the road from exhaustion, I think I'll stay up for awhile :)
