Hello all.
So, I blinked and it was December.
This past Thanksgiving was the best I've had in quite a while. It was jam-packed with amazing events, amazing friends, amazing encouragement from my Aunt; in a word, it was (you guessed it) amazing.
Now I'm back and this semester is coming to a close. If I play my cards right I may only have to take one final, which isn't bad. This was a great semester. I think I'm going have excellent grades, I received some awards, and I have some great opportunities for next semester.
A girl who works at my store is in one of my classes this semester, and I think we (by chance) have two classes together next semester. I love making new friends.
I'm also going to be a research assistant next semester for a psychology lab. I will be running the lab, administering experiments, analyzing data; doing all that psychology stuff. I'm so excited, it's an amazing opportunity.
I will probably have to ask for fewer hours at work next semester. This semester was fine at 12 units (the minimum, boo), but next I will be jumping up to 18 hours, and the research assistant position requires 8-10 hours a week by itself. I wasn't able to get classes only on Tuesday and Thursday, but that's okay. I know it will work out.
So that's my life as of now. It's about to get hectic, but I've never felt more ready.
