It's my sixth time -- you'd think I'd learn

Word count this morning: 9,666.

Word count now: 22,168.

Just three more 10K word days, and it's in the bag! Easy, right? Uh, right?

I've got four (!! well, two are done and just not handed in) assigments out for my fiction writing class. I think my teacher is getting ready to eviscerate me with a fountain pen. But the deadline for portfolios is December 11, and the deadline for Nano is November 30, so where do you think my priorities are?

I'm not losing FIVE Nanos, I can tell you that. Especially since I've finally learned the secret of the Shitty First Draft -- just get the damn words on paper, and to hell with quality. Also since my characters stopped having awkward conversations and finally started boning each other already.

Oh, yeah. It's ON.
