The paper is done. FINISHED. It ain't pretty, and it ain't good, and it's probably too short, and it's so late that on the A-F grading scale it's down around a J, but it's 140 minutes away from being IN. THE. BAG.

Meiji Ishin is alternately translated as "Meiji Restoration" and "Meiji Renovation." It can be seen as a restoration of the old emperor-centric government, or as a renovation to a Western-style cabinet government, since both changes occurred.
