1. why I played this character. I fully can't remember how Emilia came into being... I think I had a desire to play a Veela and I had an idea for a child of Fleur and Bill's who came out of the paintings, but I think I had an offhand comment of wanting to use Katherine Heigl as a PB and my brain rerouted and Emilia just formed sort of as this female version of my Sven type character. Especially since Emilia was the more immediately needed character and had TONS of family already in game. ;D Oh! Looking at stuff, I think that the idea of the portrait child got taken by someone else because my interest had waned in it, but then the idea for Emilia came. If it happened another way, feel free to tell me! I think the idea of having her as a doctor is what made me grab onto her tightly...

Hahahahahahaha! I loved, loved, LOVED that scene. Another one I just re-read? The snowball fight. I loved playing them together...so very much.
Ron says so long as Seamus took him out and got him drunk down the pub every time he came to tell Ron he'd knocked up his little girl again, it'd be all good.
Funny you mention that because that's one of the things I wished I'd been able to thread Bill and Ron. He wanted to much to be able to show Bill his daughter...and to ask if he'd done a good job raising her.
Oh, I know! I went to go re-read some of her threads to get her in my head again and I went through that one too and went 'awwwwwww'. She did really love Ron as her Dad, even with all the abandonment angst that went with it.
Emilia is saying that Seamus was getting Ron drunk a LOT then because they likely made a little Weasley clan of their own. _-_ Edit: And I just got the most adorable image of Ron walking Emilia down the aisle at her wedding. Just. Guh.
Yeah. I feel like Bill and Fleur not making it back also blocked Emilia from being able to accept the presence of Izzy. That she really needed one of them to be around and explain it all and for her to yell at and not really feel guilty about yelling at.
