A pony huh?

I can work the plastic rocket ship...but the equine might be a bit more difficult.

I'll take that deal. Fifty percent's a better success rate than I usually have with anything.

Very well then, one model rocket and a promise to look into that pony buisness...not sure where you'd keep it though...

Not that it seems it would make much of a difference at this point.

Ted Forrester, though I'm sure you know that by now.

Hmm, yeah, that might take a bit of puzzling, I admit. Maybe I'd best contend myself with the rocket.

Mal Reynolds, thanking you kindly. Well, Mr Forrester, consider yourself voted.

Much obliged sir.

And might I ask, what is it you do in this fine city?

Was no bother at all.

Well, while I'm not tryin' to figure out why my boat ain't flying, I'm keeping an eye on my crew. And occasionally get tangled with the oh-so refreshing City excitements. Used to run a... transport service back home. That's been a no-go here with no workin' ship, so me and mine find what we can to occupy our time.

[ooc: Aaand by transport he means smuggling. xD]

[ooc; Oh mal, you're so lovable]

Ah, then..'you and yours' are currently out of work?

That's one way of puttin' it, yes.

In the future I might have some work you could do, should you be interested.

Don't think I'd be saying no, to be honest. Doing nothing tends to get on folks' nerves. Mind my asking what sort of work this might be?

Is your crew used to a little bit of rough housing?

Reply

bad_in_thelatin January 21 2008, 20:10:39 UTC
Hells, rough housing was more of a rule 'stead of an exception on our jobs. Yeah, we've had our fair share of it.

And do you have a problem working alongside the police force?

bad_in_thelatin January 21 2008, 20:30:53 UTC
A new kind of notion, for sure. But I don't see that bein' a problem.

Then in the future, I might come to you for assistance in apprehending certain unsavory individuals.

Does sound like something we could do, here and there.
