Dance White Boy...DANCE
So the punishment for missing a Techno section is dancing in front of the class to an entire techno track of the TAs choosing. Needless to say I won't be missing any of that class...but today someone had to dance for his absence last week. And it was horribly executed. He stood up in front of the class and she chose a horribly slow track (Something called "Come On Daddy")....but instead of making the best of a bad situation he did the white boy sway dance. His feet were planted firmly in one spot, his elbows bent at an L with his hands infront of him and he swayed back and forth....I was soooo dissapointed. The only perk of going to that class is the off-chance that someone may be dancing....the mediocre dancing just breaks my heart. But serious question....does anyone here really know how to dance to techno? Is there a style? So far no one I'm in close contact with is a raver...so confusion abounds.
I almost got hit today. I was driving up Genese to school....and a silver Jag pulls up along side of me and without signaling or anything moves right into where I am...when you're terrified things go in slow motion, but you're brain can't seem to process what to do...I think "deer in the headlights" fits. I start to swerve away to the right but see another car right there so I lay on my horn and he barely misses me. All that took place in a fraction of a second but seemed like an eternity. But the worst part was the guy smiles and waves....I wish everyone would just look to the left or right before they move over...save me a heart attack. And after all that I'm sitting in the stop light at campus point drive and my only thought is....if I was in a wreck who would I call after the police? I would probably call work first....ugh sometimes I'm so responsible it makes me sick.
