well this week has been bumpy
my nanna passed away yesterday afternoon, peacefully with her 2 daughters at her side.
its bittersweet
sweet because she had Alzheimer's and she'd been suffering for many years, not to mention the family. In the end, she wouldnt walk or talk.
also,shes finally reunited with her husband that she lost 49 years ago.
and bitter, because shes gone.
she had a very hard life, but atleast we can take comfort knowing that shes free from all her pain, in a better place
Alzheimer's is an awful disease/condition/state
one that i personally wouldnt wish it on anyone, or their loved ones. I'm not exactly sure who suffers more, the individual or the family.
