I scored some out of print Operation Ivy CDs quite some time ago and actually listened to them today. I'm weird like that, I can get CDs and not listen for like a month. Anyways, for those not in the know, OpIV was made up of current day Rancid member Tim Armstrong (Rancid) and, shit, some other guy in Rancid I can't think of. These recordings were done on like a Mr. Microphone w/ a bad mic. They sound horrible, but ya know, I love it. I enjoy dirty, unpolished music. I guess that is why Minor Threat appealed to me once I first heard them. Some call it noise, I call it greatness.
