Long time no post LJ!
I normally really am not a big fan of birthday celebrations for myself as being the center of attention just because of the date just isn't something I'm too fond of. But thankfully I wasn't the only birthday coyote yesterday, as the party thrown was a dual purpose b-day party for sephebonblade as well. So happy birthday to you too!
My wonderful coyote ( hegdish ) and duck ( drakeduck ) threw an amazingly enjoyable party for Seph and I last night, and while I started out feeling crappy all day, by the time it was over I felt quite good. Lots of wonderful friends, lots of booze, and delicious Conejitos (WHY DID THEY COME OUT AND PLAY BIRTHDAY SONGS TWICE? I couldn't believe it! At least I got 2 shots of tequila instead of one :) ) Thank you so much to all who attended.. there was even a raccoon who drove all the way up from Chicago after work to come hang out for a bit! It was great to see everyone and even with my bah-humbug attitude towards parties, it ended up being a wonderful time. I love you all :)
Thanks to everyone here in LJ land who wished me a happy birthday, as it certainly means a lot to me. and thank you to woofers-hayes and all the folks who contributed last year towards my present for having enough last year money left over to be purchased ANOTHER year of paid LJ. Hopefully I'll use it more!
Other than birthday stuff, life is going pretty alright. Job is stable, relationship-life is going well, and the weather is finally getting more beautiful. 73 here today! I really don't have much in the way of personal complaints right now, and I'm thinkin' that's pretty awesome :)
