Upper Peninsula

Long time once again El Jay.

I don't have much to say about Furconsin that hasn't already been said, other than to say thanks to everyone who came and made it such a success. It was really an AWESOME time, and well worth the stress of putting it on. Granted, Mightytauren had to deal with most of that (especially with the moneys!) but it just turned out great. We only had to pay a fairly small amount out of our own pockets, thanks to overbooking and the gracious donations! It went super well, and thanks to everyone who came. I had SO much fun :)

So.. I went with my mother to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan over this last weekend. We went purely to take pictures of the amazing scenery with the changing leaves and such. I can't even describe how beautiful and tranquil it was there. We spent most of our time in the car, driving through hundreds of miles of beautiful wilderness, where each tree was a different color. We would drive, find a cool place to take pictures, and just keep driving. We went all the way up to Copper Harbor on Lake Superior. Absolutely amazing! It was also great spending time with Mom.. she was just elated that I went on this trip with her. Most excellent!

I also got to visit phoxtayl and bexhet in their own city, Marquette. It was -awesome- finally getting to visit their home turf. Thanks for meetin' me guys, even if it was short!

Anyways, I took a lot of pictures that I wanted to share.. and even though they don't do the beauty true justice, I think I took some pretty nice ones. First time ever using an awesome camera, too! Some look like a freakin' PAINTING..
