Not quite right
As it turns out, some higher being didn't want me to get my school on last week. I tried going up to the community college to get advised, and things just did not go well.
First I got EVERY single red light on the way there, and to make it worse, the train stop as well. Took forever to find parking, then when I walked in to get my transcript printed out to get advised, they inform me that I have an outstanding library fine from 4yrs ago. WTF? How come I never got a phone call or email???? So I walked my ass over to the library to settle the dispute, and come to find out, the library had just closed 20minutes earlier. Fun! The follow day I was off, but I didn't even bother to try going back up to the school, I had too much cleaning/organizing to get done on my 1 day off.
I finished reading Katherine Hepburn's autobiography the other day at work. It had started off really well and I enjoyed it, then somewhere towards the end it just started to get tooooo descriptive about the oddest things, like 1 whole chapter was devoted to this day where she was gardening with friends. Never knew so much detail could go into describing every flower, every tool, the soil, etc etc. Now I'm about to finish another book called "My life as an Experiment" by A.J. Jacobs, it's been pretty entertaining throughout. I'll more than likely read his other series of books, about living a whole year according to the Bible, and another one where he read the entire encyclopedia series from A-Z. Should be interesting.
Got drunk this weekend with my beau and another friend; the last time I got drunk was probably my birthday in November. It started off awesome and fun, but towards the end of the night I got SO sleepy, I was literally napping at some girl's house who I had just met, haha. I think it was a combination of all the drinks I had, mixed with a big dinner, and then a late night twinkie. Thankfully I woke up at 6:30am the next day for work without a hangover :) I am definitely going to drink less this year, last year I got carried away a bit too many times and did somethings that I don't necessarily regret, but know they weren't very good.
