The drabbles so far
Number one is for huskyfriends, who requested Doctor/Guardian of Forever & Jack Harkness/William Riker.
Jack Harkness, out of habit if nothing else, scanned the bar upon entering. His eyes immediately fell on a bearded officer, his red and black uniform a snug fit on his broad shoulders. He was making notes on a data pad, probably concerning the doughnut-shaped gateway the Doctor now curiously examined outside.
Affecting his usual charm, Jack casually sat down next to the officer. “So, Commander, you going my way?”
The officer glanced up at him, smirking. “Probably not, but I could be persuaded otherwise.”
Jack grinned. This was going to be interesting.
Number two is for knitchick1979, who asked for something with Two & McCoy.
Leonard could hardly believe his eyes. The dark-haired man in the funny suit had waived a strange device at the frightening robot and somehow it had stopped moving altogether.
The man turned, a look of concern lining his face. “Are you quite alright, my boy?”
Leonard summoned up the remainder of his courage and puffed out his chest, answering, “Yes. Thank you for helping me.”
“That Cybermat could have seriously hurt you; thank goodness I got here in time.”
“Doctor!” someone called.
“Oh, that’s my cue. Farewell!”
Leonard watched the man go. Is that what doctors did? Helped people?
Interesting.
