(no subject)
I was getting ready to ride Shadow today and my b/f noticed while I was brushing him that he had a crack in his hoof. So I didn't ride him. I took a picture to show everyone cause I dont know much about hooves. This never happened to any of my horses in the past. Here is the pic.
Is it serious? Will it be a long time before I can ride him? I called the farrier and I'm waiting for him to call me back. I dont know if he will tonight. Shadow dont seem to be limping. It looks kinda like a hangnail. I dont think its serious but after the farrier works on him, I bet I wont be able to ride him for awhile :( I just hope it will be ok.
