Some of you I've talked to knew that I've been mildly concerned with Bo*Berry's back end; I say "mildly" due to the fact, that 1) everyone that I've asked says I'm imagining things, and 2) with a few minutes of warm up, things straighten out 3)it's not consistant..hasn't been moving stiff, in a month. I figured it was lack of the heavy excersize she was getting, and the fact the she rolls ALOT (figured she rolled on a rock,a nd bruised something) and the fact, that, when her and JAck get rambunctious, he's kicked her -I don't encourage this, and it's not often, but, you know how horses are) So, anyway, no stiffiness, since, basically, two weeks after we got her. Well, tonight, I go to lunge her (first time in two weeks, due to hellacious mud) and she's moving ok..maybe a tad stiff, but enough to where I'm almost convinced it lack of excersize. But, she get's progressively worse, in 20 minutes, of walk/trotting. Now, it looks lithe hip joint is dented in. So, I stop her, of course, and take the line off, and she wandersinto the woods. I went, and was petting down her side, and put my hand on the joint..I had it therejsut long enough to feel heat, and she, ummm, yeah, she threw me into a tree...she's not done anything like that, in a while, and she looked guilty, after she did it..so, ya, calling the vet out, in the am. I'm hoping that it's from where jack kicked her, last night. So, yeah...I guess I should've had him check her back end, instead of the front end, before....but, like I said..she's been ok......I'm owrried more with in the hind, than a fore.

medical care, bo*berry
