Yay or something...

Well my 1994 Ranger (Samantha Sue) done up and died on me on wed. The radiator side tank gasket went on me at my dads garage. No big deal right? Wrong. I pull it in to the bay we do a couple of things to determine why it went. Mind you I just installed that radiator on Tuesday. It turns out that I had bad head gaskets. 218,000 miles on the factory engine and this is the biggest problem I have after 3.5+ years of owning her, not to damn bad for a Ford. So I started disassembly on Wed at about 1pm and got everything off except for the heads by 5pm or so. I was taking my sweet time and being very anal about this cause I don't wanna fuck this up like I have done in the past. Well every thing came out without any problems including the EGR tube and valve, exaust bolts (not one snapped), all the gaskets came right off with no hassels, and yesterday when I took the heads off it went beautifuly. So after I took the heads off and gave them a quick once over, I went to the machine shop I trust out in the middle of nowhere that builds race 355 Rockets for Thomson and Seekonk Speedways. Mike (the owner) cleaned each head for $20 each, planed the heads straight for $45 each, and upon final inspection found that my valves are shot. Mostly exaust but some intake also. To regrind the valves deep clean them and install new valve seats on both heads for exaust and intake it is $120 for the 2 of them. the valves are my Murphy's law cause all of the disassembly went so well and flawless. How ever I have a decent camera phone and I am posting some pics of what I have gotten done so far. I will update as nesseccary.
