Quinn had a few days off work, which had lately been a rare occasion due to some distinctly intense cases she had been putting in a lot of overtime to try and solve. She was lucky her partner was one of the best in the business who not only seemed to be an Energizer Bunny, but also a workaholic. It gave her something to bounce off when it all started to feel like it was weighing down on her. He knew all the tricks of the trade, and also how to cope when the going got tough. She was learning a lot off him, even if he could be a huge pain in the ass when he wanted to be.

But now she was taking some timeout, sat at Dean and DeLuca flicking through the latest issue of Vogue while she sipped on a Chai Latte. There was a small column in there on celebrity weddings, and speculating on who might be the next to grace the their pages. Kurt and Blaine seemed to be the top favourite, with come cute consideration on what colour theme Kurt would go for with his huge celebrity wedding. She had to laugh to herself. Oh, how the boys had pwned everyone with eloping. They had barely even announced their relationship status and wedding bells were already being speculated. Was it any wonder they wanted to do it quietly and on the hush of the judgemental big scary world? Not at fucking all.

Still, she missed all her friends a lot lately, and even though she shared a city with them, it seemed hard to catch anyone without directly imposing on all the stuff they had going on. She kept up with Facebook, and hoped one day soon she could catch up with them, and even get the guts to deliver Kurt and Blaine's wedding gift to them, which she had enjoyed shopping for when she saw their announcement.
