Puck stood in the entry of Dani's apartment after Jeff had buzzed him up while Dani was in Benny's room, explaining to him that his father was coming over, and he had to listen to him, even if he didn't want to. Puck was relatively sure that his odds were not that great going into this situation of really catching Benny in the best of moods, but the best he could do was just hold on and hope things went relatively well.
Still, this was another big daddy obstacle for him, and he was learning slowly, but surely, how to handle those. At least he hoped he was. It was more important to him than he knew how to express that he pour into the great job Dani had done raising their son instead of taking away from it or hurting it in any way. Benny was a great kid, and usually really well behaved, so Puck knew enough to realize that, if he screwed this up, he was doing a great disservice to his son, and to Dani.
A moment's small talk with Jeff was the best Puck could manage while trying to keep his nerves under control, and he was both relieved, and a bit more nervous when he looked up to see Dani headed toward them. "Hey... Is... Is everything good to go?" he asked.
