Van Nuys High School
As much as I don't want to say this... Van Nuys is growing on me. Idf your there for a week you think "Oh my gosh, no place could ever be as ghetto as this", but if your forced to stay there longer you realize it's not ghetto at all and actually kind of nice. It could get you into basically any school you want (proof from previous graduates) and the kids who i thought we evil are actually really nice. Like Karla said, I was positive that I wasn't even going to stay there for a semester, but now I think I'm not actually going to die if I stay there longer.
per. 1 Science: This is basically the only class i do not like. It's not that I don't like the kids or that the teacher sucks. It's that I've learned everything in the freaking class over the past four years. Right now we're studying volcanoes... yeah, volcanoes. I was really supposed to be in bio but the administrators are unbelievably stupid. They think that no freshmen whatsoever are in apbio and hello, I can name 10. (Grade: A)
per. 2 French: My teacher is this psycho Mrs. Kueppers who isn't fat, but she's nice...ish. She treats us like we're in kindergarten but I've actually learned a lot a lot of french so far. It WAS fun because I sat behind Serina and in front of Paula, but SOMEONE *cough*paula*cough* HAD to switch my seat so I sit next to Kevin. Thank you very much. (Grade: A)
per. 3 English: My favorite academic class. I sit next to karla and (unfortately, jk) dominic and this girl named jamie sits behind me. we both know kelly and roxy and those people so we have stuff to talk about. my teacher is good, but we get off subject A LOT. it's a lot of fun though. and for once dominic isnt the "class clown". this girl named marissa is HILARIOUS (right, karla ... vocab word ;P)
per. 4 Geometry: I'm good at it, but lets just say... I miss Kitajima
per. 5 Symphonietta: one of the only freshmen. really interesting though. I'm first chair :D
per.6 Volleyball: at the end of a long day there's always one thing to look forward to. Its SO much fun. I play opposite, 2nd string. The girls are really really nice and its funny because when we go to games it's always all these white girls and are team is evenly asian, black, hispanic, white. lots of friends made here... we've won 3/5 of our games.
i miss you guys a lot. i dont think some of you miss us though, which is really sad to think about. some people who i thought loved walter reed now want nothing to do with the people :( *sigh* basically, van nuys is growing on me... but i want more rainbows! (and maybe even a p...slovokian..) i know this is a really long post, but i havent posted in a while so this makes up for it.
