Lent is approaching. And besides meat and in-between-meal snacks, I'm not sure what I will sacrafice. I wish i could sacrafice myself for Jesus, but I think He'd be happy with the small things I give up too.
Or even the small things I do instead, like, giving people hugs more often, or saying something that's on my mind instead of cowering in the imaginary, hypothetical corner of the world. Maybe going to Reconciliation, as frightening as I get during those things. I never know what to say! whaaaat.
I might be the only Catholic one out of my LJ'ers, and I'm pretty sure we're the only ones who celebrate it [maybe...don't hold me to that], but what would you give up?
It's kinda like your second chance for a new years resolution...except with a better concept.
