Alana Starwalt: Don't let go of those who have been a part of your life and you'll find pieces of yourself in them
Brad Smith: Well, I don't know what advice I can give, having never been there. But I'd say try and do the whole willow in the wind thing and bend with it. Don't resist on principle, only where it counts. If you're a good little soldier on the trivial stuff and decide that, dammit, you're going to give them 10 more pushups than what they ask for in the first place, then they won't be bent on breaking you when it comes to the important stuff. But that's just my guess. Like I said, I've never been there.
Paul Chapman: ::Gives a word of encouragement:: You have love, and sometimes that's the most enviable quality anyone can desire. And for that you should be happy.

"I learned how to do something called mind partitioning last night. I will not be broken. Isn't it great? Its all in the human psychology. " -Me, Dec. 28th, 2003; 11:51 AM

"I lost her on the 11th...that was 73 days of my life.
Military school sucks as always...I'm not going to go back to Raleigh anytime soon...
She was the only reason that I would have returned and now she can't hold me back.
This is the last post I'll be putting in my journal until March 12th or 13th, and that will be my final post.
Thank you for all of your support friends, but there comes a time when people have to go independant, free of everyone else."

"Byebye blurty... ANyone on here who really knows me will know where to find me and my new blog -- to the others -- I wish you the best of luck in life. I tend to make a fool of myself quite easily -- learn from everyone's mistakes. Be a wallflower, see where people mess up and make sure you don't do the same thing. You dont want to go down the path that I'm going down. That's all...
Bye."

"She figured out the loophole
Contacted the partition
The new is gone forever now
There will be no more remission."

This world is amazing. Everything in it is living and breathing and full of life -- and also full of death. Life is what we make it -- not what we get out of it. Every time I think I'm gonna fall down and not get back up, with a little help from my friends, they pick me up, they push me harder and farther than I ever thought I could have gotten -- this is the essence of friendship.
And believe it or not, I love life.
