Back to the pressure.

Apr 09, 2008 07:07

Yes it's way early in the morning. The plan was to wake up even earlier- to watch soccer and at the same time do work and all.
Yes, it was not meant to be. Haha. Sad how it's getting harder to stay up late or wake up too early. Hmm. It comes with age or what? Forget that, I think it's just the dread... =)

So, first things first... LIVERPOOL WON! heh heh heh... *grins* Jangan marah eh Sue. hee. I just took a visit to the site to check out the results. Went straight to updating the bro.

The bro reported for NS yesterday. He's with the police force. Too many in the family. Hope he's fine. The joker and so-called best friend in the house will be gone for 2 weeks straight. No one to discuss soccer. Oh, never mind. =)

Competition has started. North Zone was a 2day event- last Fri and the past Monday. Didn't attend that one as we have no schools in that zone and no performance. East Zone is today, which is part of the reason why I'm up so early. They had practice yesterday, and it wasn't a run through- as it usually is with eve of tournament day. They were still changing routines! Haiz. super stressed you know??? =( Then again, seems like all the schools are in that direction. All schools under me that is.

For the record, West Zone will be next Monday, 14th April, at Clementi Primary and South Zone will be next Thursday, 17th April, at Yangzheng Primary. Today's East Zone will be at Meridian Primary. Yes, ALL THE WAY in the east [Pasir Ris?] and I have to go Hougang at 330pm. Nice one. Anyway, my team will be performing for both the South and West Zone. So if you're interested- performance or the competition, do come down. =) And I realized that I've not had my friends down for any of my team's performances for the past years. Hmmm.

So 2 weeks ago it was a packed weekend of performances. It was frustrating, fun and definitely tiring. Eventually, I think it helped the team bond better- especially the much divided [according to (ex)schools] juniors. It's great! =) Photos and videos are not up yet. Sorry. Will update when up yeah. We're looking at setting up a site to post team things. Anyone up for template design or something? Get back to me. =)

Life has been pretty emotionally trying of late. The Precious Boy is the most in the know I guess. This kinda explains the song [which I dedicate to you], aside from the fact that it has always been one of my all-time favourites. I've been stressed, distressed, depressed and the likes for a while. I'm quite looking forward to Ryan's birthday and pending laydees picnic for they'll be next weekend- just as all competition has ended. Excellent! I've been having thoughts of a sea breeze and all for a while. I really need to clear these messed up emotions and mind.

The relationship's taking it's toll a little but we're sticking it through.

Last night, me and sis discovered some great songs with great lyrics. Videos of the kumpulan bawah blok previously posted before. Haha. Yes, yes Apit. I'm hoping very much that they try out for Anugerah Band. Simply lovely. Anugerah Band had the much expected majority of mat rockers.  I know not because I dropped by but because I was having training at the office tower of the venue and could hear the music played, plus seeing the guys for myself when we went down to buy lunch. Hence, Apit's team- if auditioned and got through, will very much provide a variety to the competition. Hell, they'll give quite a competition too! Go Apit! Haha okok I added that last part cos I already sound like a fan, which really I am I guess. Go take a listen yourself and decide! The lyrics should touch you, if the voice doesn't- which I don't think is hard. =)

Here's the list of songs discovered:

- Cintaku Dipermainkan
Super related to my feelings currently. The tears were really close. However the ending is too harsh, which I am not.
Lyrics on comments page 6.

- Tembok Derita
Sis' favourite. Weird how he pronounces tatoo. -shrugs-
Lyrics on comments page 4.

- Luahan Hati
This one I can't remember if I posted it before. I discovered it quite awhile back and really loved the lyrics.
Sorta tells the story of how me and my boy met. Hee.
Lyrics on comments page 7.

- Memang Khilafku
Of course, this is the first video we discovered him- in case some of you missed it.
I'm still confused about the title- is there supposed to be "Memang" in front or not?

Damn this is like free publicity for him! Haha. Anyway, lyrics were on the above-mentioned pages at the time of writing. =)

Okay then, I'll be gone. Wish me luck for all the competition. I mean, pray that my schools achieve quite significantly despite the very much last minute confirmation to things. =)

videos, rope skipping, soccer
