From SoCal with Love, KTBPA

I attended the Anaheim NKOTBSB concert last Wednesday (and I'm still mentally kicking myself for not going to the LA concert - sigh). The entire concert was awesome. The Boys rocked Anaheim with NKOTB and I can't wait to see BSB here in SoCal again.

I wanted to bring this song to everyone, because I thought it'd be hilarious for BSB fans to see. The evening was fun and it seems like both the Boys and the Kids were taking it easy and goofed off a bit. My favorite moment in the show was probably when the guys were all onstage together singing, “Don’t Turn Out the Lights." In just one song, lots of mayhem and humor occurred.

When I was watching it Live at the moment, I had no clue what happened except the guys on stage were laughing instead of singing. I had to watch a fan-recorded video of the performance to understand what had happened.

See if you catch all the things that happen in this video:

It looks like Nick forgot to walk onto the runway so he decided to jump out to walk in time with NKOTB’s Jordan Knight, causing Jordan to laugh instead of sing the lyrics.

And then Brian decided that he wanted to continue dancing up the catwalk with NKOTB’s Joey McIntyre instead of staying behind in his section to dance the choreography, which causes Joey to laugh instead of finishing his part too.

And did you catch all the panties being thrown at the Boys? AJ and Nick definitely got some (AJ even got a bra during "I'll Never Break Your Heart"), while I'm not sure if Howie did or not when he was singing his part down the catwalk, but it definitely looked like he tried to catch something.

Hope you enjoyed the video and had a good laugh. Many thanks to bsbleo03 for the awesome capture. This has become one of my favorite performances of this song, just for the sheer hilariousness of Frick and Frack making the NKOTB guys laugh. Then the Boys' reaction in getting panties, just topped it off for me.

Oh also, two weeks ago I posted a collection of fanvids of Kevin's return and now the Backstreet Boys' official website has a fantastic behind the scene and front row view of the performance:

A big lol @ AJ and Howie at the end
