I was greatly disappointed with the state fair this year. But lets start from the beginning of my weekend. On Friday I went over to Waynes to watch a movie, Sublime, that he told me to rent. It was fucked up, in the best of ways. Its kinda like Urban Legends but not so teenagerish. Saturday we layed around till noon, when his paycheck came, went to the ATM then the state fair. It was sad, I didn’t even have any Sweet Martha cookies. It’s the one time of year I splurge and screw my diet. Oh well, guess its best for everyone that I don’t. It was so crowded that I wanted to leave right away, we couldn’t even walk together for half the time. They moved the baby animals since I was there last so we didn’t get to see the miracle of birth *cue the cheesy melodic music*. We were there for a few hours though. Then we went home and watched some more movies. Hm, what did I rent this weekend…. The Guardian, Perfume, The Departed, Déjà vu and I forget the rest. I think we got 8 over the weekend. On Sunday morning I wanted to do something, not sit around. So we saw Stardust at like 10:15. oh, just before that I went home to feed the cat and put on clean clothes. It was cute, I’ll put it that way. Neither of us had a huge interest in seeing that one but there wasn’t anything else that looked good. I was pleasantly surprised. Then we went home and laid around some more. I got more movies. Christopher called from NYC. He is doing well so far. Wayne got fast food for dinner, a nice treat. Then we went to bed. There was a big storm during the night so I didn’t sleep well. A very nice relaxing weekend, I never thought I’d say I enjoy those.
This week has been boring so far at work. Dennis, Sean and I have been doing practical jokes on each other. Nothing too brilliant. A little bit ago; Dennis and I were talking about the mile high club and wondering if that would be a non-rev no no? So I went up to the pass bureau and they said yes it is. Darn, that might have been fun!! I’ll just stick with my train, boat, fantasuite fantasies.
My friend sent me a link to his awesome blog. OMG, I was crying when I read the post about the Fergie show at the state fair. So funny, you gotta check him out.
