Needless to say, with a quote like that, Uncle Vanya rehearsals are a laugh riot. Let me tell ya, we may take 3 hours to get thru 5 pages but those hours are specked with fun. For example, tonight, Serebryakov was told to walk across the stage more manly. He came out walking like Steve Martin in The Pink Panther. OMG. What a trip.
Work has been boring. I’ve been alone for my 8 hour shift. Being the first Wednesday of the month, we had cake at our weekly store meeting. We also got our friends and family coupons. I have a chance of winning $4000!! Not that I ever will but dreams are nice.
This morning I also talked to the public housing people. I finally got thru to Blia, the supervisor. She had a list of places I could choose from. I lowered it down to three because they are ONE BEDROOMS! WooT! One is just a few blocks from me, so I’ll pass on that. The other is in a crazy area, the policeman I talked to heavily advised me against staying there. The third is on my way to my NEW JOB! See, a great day. The only thing that could make it better would be a real marriage proposal (not one by Thomas from work) or that guy I like at work asking me out. Some things need to be left for when I need a pick me up. I cant have all the good things happen at once.
