Let me just say I am so glad I decided to go friendsfriends-ing tonight. This film has pretty much taken over my soul, as has the soundtrack, and finding this? has pretty much made my night. Love the artwork, and LOVE how you included 16 HP.

And I'll end the gushing here by saying that I'm dling with much glee. :D

God, I know. This movie has completely and successfully pwned me. And I think 16 HP works perfectly for this film. Glad you like!

It's one of those films I never tire of seeing, because with every rewatch, I'm left with a different impression. It's unsettling and touching and chilling, and I was left in tears the first time I saw it. I can't decide whom I love or hate more, Jesse or Bob.

Also, hee, I'm really amused because I JUST uploaded the soundtrack to this film a few days ago and wrote a gushing introduction to it. Clearly the internet is all Team Jesse James these days!

I'm exceedingly pleased to find another fan of 16 HP! Have you given Woven Hand a listen? David Eugene Edwards = a bit of a genius, I think.

...No I have not. x_o Will get on ASAP. How much do I love his voice though. So much.

I've stopped counting how many times I've seen this. I'm -still- trying to figure out what went on between Bob and Jesse, and dammit, it's frustrating, but I keep trying.

Oh, I have a little (dark) corner in my heart for Bob. I blame (or thank) Casey Affleck.

Let me know if you have trouble finding anything and I'll, uh, hook you up. ;)

I think I need to watch it a couple more hundred times to figure it out myself! And I am rather partial to Jesse (well, I am now, but a rewatch will probably change my opinion AGAIN) -- something about neurotic, moody, bullying, almost myth-like figures and their inevitable downfalls leaves me all a-wibble.

Ohh, thanks!

Well, yeah, Jesse most definitely gets me wibbling, but it's Bob who gets me bawling. ;_; Ohhh you twisted, obsessed, lost little boy. *hugs him after making sure he doesn't have a knife on him*

Spreading the DEE love is my pleasure! XD

Yeah, that was me during the first viewing, sobbing like a babe at the ending. ;_; I suspect I'll be writing fic once the semester is done, all woeful and tragic like, with Song for Bob playing in the background. ._.

I'll be the first to read it. MAJOR fic withdrawal over here.

Also, I'm friending you. Because I just took a look over at your journal and you love Rome, too.

Nhr, your layout SLAYS me. And yes, I have a deep and undying love for Rome (a friend of mine handwrote an Antony/Brutus drabble for me and I've been carrying it around ever since for rereads while stuck on the tube, hah!) -- and Band of Brothers, too!

Yay, we're going to get along fabulously! Now I'll go ogle your Octavian icon for a bit. ;D

Dude don't tell me you're in Band of Brothers too.

Lol, Octavian was what got me into Rome in the first place. Probably the only person on the planet who liked older!Octavian better than younger!Octavian. What can I say. Him and his two little helpers make my fangirl heat soar.

Dude, I 100% am, although... I have no icons to reflect this. :o Outrage!

adjha;dj;ea Maecenas is such a little sex kitten. I love it when he shocks poor Agrippa with his orgy-loving antics. I do have a fondness for young!Octavian, but I too am of the older!faction. Older!Octavian and his bratpack ftw.
